Inspired by the process of formation of the rich geometry and patterns that exist in the desert landscape, Almulla designed a product that looks at time, light and movement. Traces of Time is a timepiece that explores the formation of sand dunes, allowing the user to experience this natural phenomenon through the passage of time and movement of light.

An artwork that invites exploration of community and connection through white geometric shapes. Featuring interlocking tiles arranged in a semi-symmetrical layout, it symbolizes Dubai as a vibrant cultural hub. As the viewer’s gaze moves outward, the symmetry dissolves, reflecting the organic nature of human relationships. The piece’s sleek tiles contrast with a textured background, creating dynamic shadows. Some tiles are intentionally misaligned, representing unique paths to collaboration and community development, ultimately illustrating how diverse identities can unite to form a cohesive society.
